Back in August, my friend Kayla reached out to me about an idea that she had for an editorial elopement shoot. Even though we were right in the midst of busy season, we knew that we just had to go for it and I am so glad that we did! We worked so hard to bring this thing to life with the most talented team of vendors out there and are so excited to finally be sharing it!
A private island—owned by family since 1898—set the stage for a beautiful wedding editorial. Vintage pieces from the family estate—a brass clock, lovely cream tablecloth, a white dresser from a bedroom that has housed generations of family members for 120 years—all added meaningful touches to the couple’s intimate event. Even the modern pieces—a beautiful, lace-covered dress, hair and makeup design, French macarons, brass tableware, and stunning peach-toned florals—created a beautiful union of nostalgia and elegance. Every detail was meticulously planned to showcase how a bride and groom can incorporate meaningful family heirlooms and vintage inspiration into their wedding day while maintaining a beautiful, fresh aesthetic.
A big thank you to the most amazing vendor team who worked so hard to make this shoot a literal dream! Stay tuned for our feature coming soon to Grey Likes Weddings!
