The inspiration from this shoot all started with Company 251‘s clean and modern aesthetic. With such a beautiful venue and somewhat of a blank slate, we wanted to fill this space with all of the right details, using bold pops of color and texture to create something truly unique. Designed and curated by the amazing Jordan of Events by JVB, this inspiration shoot is sure to make heads turn.
The stunning florals by Bou•K Bridal definitely stole the show. The arrangements were filled with greenery and white fluffy florals, accompanied by fun pops of orange and blue. Kara of Bou•K Bridal and Jordan of Events by JVB wanted to highlight the gorgeous windows at the ceremony space by creating the ceremony installation around them, giving the entire installation an organic yet whimsical feel.
This theme carried over into the tablescape which featured asymmetrical floral arrangements on either side of the table. To continue adding in fun texture and color, we used a blue velvet tablecloth from BBJ Linen’s new line. The tableware from the Festive Frog completely tied together the design with Company 251’s space, with nods to the black and brass details that can be found throughout the venue.
The stationery and calligraphy from Amore Creative and Kara Elizabeth Calligraphy added even more texture and elegance to the shoot. These two went all out in creating some truly beautiful pieces. From the invitation suite and hand-calligraphed vows, to the menus and placecards, to the amazing infographic welcome program, each stationery piece added something unique to the shoot. The hand-torn paper and elegant calligraphy really brought in a high-end, luxurious feel and proved that these classic details can still be used with a modern and whimsical design!
Our models are a real life married couple who radiated love and beauty throughout the entire shoot. The bride wore an ethereal gown from Dame Couture paired with a stunning cathedral length veil. Her hair and makeup by Sophia Bella Bridal was the perfect combination of elegant and naturally carefree. Her groom wore a suit that was styled by The Wedding GPS, consisting of different hues of blue and gray which balanced well with the overall color scheme.
This day ended with blackberry ice cream and a gorgeous watercolor and gold cake designed by The Quintessential Cake. All of the florals on the cake were handmade by Victoria of the Quintessential Cake and were the perfect complement to the stunning florals used by Bou•K Bridal throughout the rest of the design.
This inspiration shoot speaks to the couple who is looking for unique designs and bold color, while still maintaining an overall classic and modern feel. See more at at The Perfect Palette!
